Background
Vincenzina Disalvo, MFT — Ms. V to the families who work with her — is the Family Therapist at RECO Health, providing structured family therapy for loved ones of clients in the RECO Health outpatient network. Her path into the field was personal. After watching her son struggle with addiction, she returned to school to earn her MFT and began working with families walking through the same experience she knew from the inside.
Her voice with families carries the weight of that lived experience. She has felt the sleepless nights, the second-guessing, and the fragile hope. She now uses that empathy to steady families across each phase of their loved one’s outpatient treatment.

Ms. V works from a family systems lens with warmth, honesty, and a steady insistence that families heal in parallel with the identified client — not after, and not separately.
She helps families identify enabling patterns, communicate more directly, hold boundaries that stick, and let go of the illusion of control that so often anchors a family stuck in the addiction cycle. Her sessions balance skills work with the kind of relational repair that only happens when people speak honestly with each other, often for the first time in years.
Education & Credentials
Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Ms. V’s clinical practice grew out of her family’s own recovery, and she has spent many years supporting families through the parallel work that outpatient treatment requires.
