Background
Carly Podolsky is the Director of Operations at RECO Health, where she oversees the behavioral health technician (BHT) team and keeps the day-to-day rhythm of the integrated network coordinated across programs. Originally from New York, she moved to Miami for college and earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Miami before starting her career in advertising and out-of-home media.
Her path into behavioral health was personal. After completing RECO's program herself, she felt drawn to the mission and joined the team as a Behavioral Health Technician. From there she stepped into Shift Lead, then Supervisor, and now leads operations for the network.
Approach to Care
Carly's work is the operational glue between clinical teams, residential staff, and leadership. She built her perspective from the floor up, which means decisions about scheduling, staffing, and client experience come from someone who has done the work and lived the recovery side as well.
She leads with compassion and consistency, two traits she names as essential for both staff and clients. Her focus is making sure that no part of the client experience gets dropped between handoffs — the kind of operational reliability that turns a good treatment program into a great one.
Education & Credentials
Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, University of Miami. Carly came to behavioral health through her own recovery rather than a clinical path, which has made her a steady advocate for the BHT role at RECO — the staff members closest to clients in their day-to-day experience.
